During the past 24 hours, Port Said Governorate has witnessed important events that varied between continuing campaigns to remove encroachments and societal efforts to serve citizens, as well as intensifying control of markets in preparation for the blessed Eid Al -Adha.

The executive bodies in the governorate continued their efforts to implement the 26th wave to remove encroachments on the lands of the state, where the Al -South neighborhood implemented a magnified campaign that resulted in the removal of 8 cases of transgression on agricultural lands in the South Green and Channel Associations on a total area of 2450 square meters, in coordination with the Agriculture Directorate and Security Forces, in implementation of the directives For all forms of transgression.
Major General Moheb Habashi, the governor of Port Said, witnessed a celebration to distribute 49 electric devices to 42 families from the first with care, in cooperation between the Directorate of Social Solidarity, and in the presence of executive and popular leaders, as the governor affirmed his full support for community work initiatives, praising the prominent role of NGOs in reducing burdens on the shoulders of citizens.
In the education sector, Taher Al -Gharabawi, Director of the Directorate of Education, inspected the progress of transportation exams in all educational departments, and he was reassured about the progress of the committees and the provision of a suitable climate for students, thanking the teachers and school departments for the efforts made to ensure the regularity of the exams.
The Directorate of Supply, in coordination with the veterinary medicine, launched an intensive control campaign on the markets, which resulted in the seizure of quantities of poultry injected with water in order to cheat, in addition to meat that is not suitable for human consumption, where the necessary legal measures were taken, in the context of the province’s preparations to receive the blessed Eid Al -Adha.

Port Said called the student Rawan Ali Shalaby, 18, who left after a struggle with a rare disease days before the high school exams, at a solemn funeral in which her colleagues and the people of the city participated.
