US President Donald Trump condemned the armed attack that took place in front of the Jewish Museum in the American capital, Washington, and killed employees of the Israeli embassy.
Trump described the attack as a crime that was carried out motivated by anti -Semitism, confirming through his account on the Truth Social platform, that there is no place for hatred and extremism in the United States.
Trump extended his condolences to the families of the victims whose identities have not yet been announced, expressing his deep sorrow, saying: It is very sad to see that things like this can happen.
Employees of the Israeli embassy were killed
Israeli sources revealed that the two dead were young, on the verge of engagement, as the Israeli ambassador to Washington, Yahya Liter, indicated that the dead man had bought a sermon and was planning to present him to his partner.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog expressed his strong condemnation of the attack, describing it as a dominant act that killed two young men, confirming that Israel stood by the Jewish community in the United States, and calling for full support to the embassy employees.
