At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his pride and appreciation for the active role played by the national press in supporting the renaissance and prosperity march of the Kingdom of Bahrain and highlighting the achievements that it achieves and the tributary of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and supported His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, may God protect him.

The Foreign Minister pointed to the continuous efforts made by the Kingdom of Bahrain during its presidency of the thirty -third Arab Summit, which reflected the keenness of His Majesty the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, to show the Bahrain Summit in an honorable manner that embodies the good preparation, the accuracy of the organization and the quality of the outputs, and that the summit will be crowned with constructive initiatives and decisions that contribute to paying the process of joint Arab action, enhancing solidarity and Arab integration in various fields, Peace and solidarity in light of the challenges the region is going through.

He said that His Majesty the King, may God bless him, has paid off in his opening speech to the Bahrain Summit in interest to the Palestinian cause, and the denial of the brotherly Palestinian people to the legitimate rights of security, freedom, and self -determination, adding that His Majesty stressed the necessity of crystallizing a common and urgent Arab and international position, which depends on the path of dialogue and collective solidarity to stop the bleeding of wars, and bring the final and fair peace, as an alternative choice.

He added that His Majesty was keen to inform the leaders of countries that influence globally about the outputs and initiatives of the Bahrain Summit, and the tragic conditions in the Gaza Strip, and His Majesty made a number of high -level official visits, which included the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China, the United Kingdom and the French Republic, to mobilize international support for an international conference to solve the Palestinian issue a common and comprehensive solution that preserves the rights of the brotherly Palestinian people.

The Foreign Minister also talked about the efforts made by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, at the regional and international levels, and his high international participation and communications he made with many government heads in friendly countries to support a fair and comprehensive peace in the region.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed that the initiatives submitted by the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Summit have received the appreciation of the Arab countries as they touch the reality and set solutions to the issues and challenges facing Arab countries, including the call to hold an international conference to resolve the Palestinian issue on the basis of the two -state solution, support recognition of the State of Palestine, its obtaining full membership in the United Nations, and the provision of educational and health services for those affected by conflicts and conflicts in the region, and developing Arab cooperation in the field of technology Finance, innovation and digital transformation.

He said that the Council of Ministers, headed by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, may God protect him, directed the formation of a national committee concerned with coordinating and following up the implementation of the initiatives submitted by the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab summit, stressing that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to continue its efforts to follow up the implementation of all initiatives.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs pointed out that the ministry has played an important role in following up the implementation of the outputs of the Bahrain Summit at the political level, which included participation in the meetings of the competent committees that were issued by decisions of Arab and Islamic summits, and said that the Kingdom joined the international coalition to implement the two -state solution, which was formed on the initiative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Norway and the European Union, and was keen to follow up the developments of the situation in the sister Arab countries.

The Foreign Minister talked about the upcoming political entitlements and the participation of the Kingdom of Bahrain in it, including the summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council states and the Association of Southeast Asian countries (ASEAN), the summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Association of Southeast Asian countries (ASEAN) and the People’s Republic Gaza, and the international conference to implement the two -state solution, which will be held in New York in June, headed by a joint presidency of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the French Republic.

The Foreign Minister also talked about the Ministry of Foreign Affairs preparations for the elections held in the United Nations General Assembly in next June to choose the non-permanent member states of the UN Security Council, and the Kingdom is nominated for a non-permanent seat in the Council for the period (2026-2027), and he said that the ministry has set the desired goals of this membership, which includes a number of important priorities, including enhancing pluralism and respecting international law, including international humanitarian law, with a focus on addressing traditional threats And the young woman for international security and peace, especially in the field of cybersecurity and maritime security, and combating terrorist financing, in addition to the effective participation of women and youth in international peace and security initiatives.
