The University of Menoufia announced the details of the health status of the injured in the accident of the elevator of the emergency hospital in a university hospital, stressing that all cases are stable and receive the necessary medical care.

The university leaders visited the injured to check on their health, accompanied by a number of university president deputies and university hospitals, where full medical care was emphasized and all the necessary requirements were provided for treatment.
The university explained that the elevator was carrying 16 university hospitals, in addition to the elevator worker, and 5 cases were left as soon as they were reassured about a few hours after the accident, while the number of injured people reached 12 cases, they underwent urgent aid and a quick medical intervention in the surgery and bone divisions.
The university added that today, 10 other cases were left, whose injuries were minor bruises and scratches, after ensuring the stability of their condition and receiving the necessary care, while only two cases in the hospital remained with fractures in the leg, and they are scheduled to leave tomorrow.
The university affirmed the continuation of the health follow -up of the injured until the complete recovery, with the assignment of a technical and engineering committee from the Engineering Consulting Center at the Faculty of Engineering and Engineering Affairs to prepare a comprehensive report on the elevator’s condition, in addition to directing the legal affairs to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
The university stressed that it will not neglect to take the necessary legal measures against any official that proves his failure in the incident, confirming its full keenness on the safety of workers and patients within its medical facilities.
