The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s welcome to the decision of the European Union to lift economic sanctions on the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, as a positive step in the process of building the modern Syrian state, and achieving the aspirations of its brotherly people towards stability and prosperity.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed the constant and supportive position of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the unity, sovereignty, security and independence of Syria, supporting its efforts in recovery and reconstruction, establishing peace and sustainable development, and restoring its active role in its Arab, regional and international surroundings.
