Cairo 24, the date of the blessed Eid Al-Adha 2025 in the following lines, is as follows:-
The Egyptian Dar al -Iftaa intends to investigate the crescent of the month of Dhu al -Hijjah, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, which corresponds to the twenty -ninth of Dhu al -Qi’dah, that is, 7 days from now, to determine the month of the month and the day of Arafa and Eid al -Adha.
It is expected that the Ifta House, in cooperation with the majority of Arab countries, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will issue a statement on the same day, May 27, to announce the result of the vision of the crescent.
Astronomical calculations indicate that the crescent of the month of Dhu al -Hijjah will be born at dawn on Tuesday 27 May 2025, at 5:03 am local Cairo local time, which corresponds to 29 Dhu al -Qi’dah 1446 AH.
These accounts expect that the new crescent will remain in the sky of Makkah for 38 minutes after sunset, and in Cairo for 47 minutes. As for the rest of Egypt, the period of its survival will range between 40 and 49 minutes, while the Arab and Islamic capitals and cities range between 9 and 59 minutes.
Based on these astronomical data, it is expected that the beginning of the month of Dhu al -Hijjah will be on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Accordingly, Arafat is likely to be the standing of Arafat on Thursday, June 5, 2025, and the blessed Eid Al -Adha will be on Friday, June 6, 2025.
