The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the number of martyrs and those injured as a result of the continuous Israeli aggression on the Strip, with the start of the Israeli occupation army to start a new military operation under the name of Gideon vehicles.
In its daily statistical report, the ministry stated that 136 martyrs, including 11 recovery martyrs, arrived at Gaza hospitals during the past 24 hours, in addition to 364 injuries.
She pointed out that there are victims still under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense teams face difficulties in reaching them due to the security situation.
The number of martyrs in Gaza has increased to more than 53 thousand martyrs
According to the ministry, the outcome of the Israeli aggression has increased since October 7, 2023 to 53,475 martyrs and 121,398 injured.
In the period from March 18, 2025 until now, the death toll reached 3,340 martyrs and 9,357 injuries.

Continuous Israeli aggression against Gaza
This outcome comes amid a large -scale Israeli military escalation, as Israel launched the Gideon vehicles operation, due to operational control of the Gaza Strip through three main stages that include military deployment, displacement of population and the elimination of Hamas.
The Israeli occupation army announced that it had started wide land operations in the north and south of the Gaza Strip, where he bombed more than 670 goals during the past week in the framework of preparing the ground operation. Reports also revealed the spread of five Israeli military teams in multiple areas, where each division pays a third of its power the size of a brigade in its operations area, bringing the total participating force to approximately five brigades.
In a related context, the relief teams and medical teams face great difficulties in reaching the victims due to the intense shelling and land operations, which increases the state of humanitarian emergency in the sector.
