The activities of the First Employment Forum for Youth in Damietta Governorate, organized by the Labor Directorate headed by Fathi Al -Talawi, and under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Al -Shihabi, Governor of Damietta, are launched at the Damietta Civilized Bridge, with the participation of major private sector companies that provide various job opportunities for young people of both sexes in various fields.

Fathi Al -Talawi, Director of the Labor Directorate in Damietta, stressed that the forum is the largest of its kind at the governorate level, as it provides about 1100 job opportunities in cooperation with 500 companies, noting that some jobs do not require a specific age, which gives wider opportunities for different groups of applicants, in light of various needs for the local labor market.
The available jobs vary to include: engineers (production, electricity, control, quality, technology), accountants, financial managers, forhemers, Khardin, operators of cranes, transporter (first and second degree), Forex drivers, security personnel, store trustees, workers (buffet, Khashab, lace, tettif), as well as educational opportunities for teachers in multiple materials, supervisors, and supervisors Administratives with a maximum age of 35 years. These jobs are applied through a dedicated electronic link.
It is reported that the Damietta Civilized Bridge, which embraces the forum, is one of the oldest moving bridges in the world, was built in 1890 AD coinciding with the construction of the Eiffel Tower using the same equipment. He was recently restored and raised his efficiency to return to life as a tourist landmark that carries the fragrant history and the distinctive identity of Damietta.
