Egypt and Saudi Arabia aim to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the two brotherly countries, through official discussions that will be held between the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali and the President of the Saudi Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, on the sidelines of the latter’s visit to Cairo, at the head of a high -level Saudi delegation.
Earlier, the head of the Saudi Shura Council arrived in Egypt at the beginning of an official visit at the head of a delegation from the Council; In response to an official invitation he received from the Speaker of the Egyptian Parliament.
Parliamentary cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia
During the visit, the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council will hold an official discussion session with the Speaker of the Egyptian Parliament, and will meet a number of Egyptian officials, and the visit is witnessing the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Shura Council and the Egyptian Parliament related to parliamentary cooperation.
The delegation of the Shura Council accompanying the Speaker of the Council includes members of the Council Saad bin Salib Al -Otaibi, Ajlan bin Abdulaziz Al -Ajlan, Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Tawi, Dr. Amal Bint Yahya Al -Sheikh, Dr. Ghada bint Talaat Al -Hudhali, and a number of employees of the Council.
