Tharwat Swailem said in televised comments: There was keenness not to drop any of the popular clubs to the Professional League.
Swailem added: Al -Ahly club was one of the first supporters to cancel the decline and Mohamed Shawky, the representative of Al -Ahly, informed us of the difficulty of establishing a league without Ismaili.
Regarding a dispute between the Clubs League and the Football Association, Tharwat Swailem said: Hani Abu Raida was the first to establish the idea of establishing the Egyptian Clubs Association and what was reported that there is a dispute between Hani Abu Raida and Ahmed Diab is incorrect.
Tharwat Swailem continued: He was completely satisfied with the performance of the Clubs Association, the establishment of a regular championship without postponement and the end of the league early on the previous seasons, something calculated for the Club Association.
It is noteworthy that the Club Association during its meeting yesterday decided to cancel the decline in the current season, based on the desire of the clubs after voting on the decision.
