During the session, the minister reviewed the programs aimed at enhancing economic diversity and attracting investments, including facilitating governmental procedures for the practice of business, and providing a supportive organizational and legislative environment, through the continuous review of laws and legislation supporting investment, in addition to the transparency of procedures and services, focusing on developing logistical services, developing the labor market by expanding the labor fund programs “empower”, promoting the education sector Developing the financial services sector, enhancing the infrastructure of the communications sector, investing in human capital, stimulating innovation and developing promising sectors.

The Minister of Finance and National Economy also indicated that the Kingdom of Bahrain launched the economic recovery plan at the end of October of 2021, which included many priorities, including creating promising job opportunities to make the citizen the first option in the labor market, facilitate commercial procedures and increase their effectiveness, and develop priority sectors, in addition to enhancing the endeavors of financial sustainability and economic growth, which confirms the keenness of all members of the Bahrain team from their various locations to achieve everything that would grow and prosper for the country and all His children.

The minister stressed that the implementation of economic plans contributed to enhancing the diversity of the Bahraini economy, as the contribution of non -oil sectors increased to about 86% of the gross domestic product, which reflects the success of the policies used to reduce dependence on oil and expand the base of national production, in addition to reviewing the most prominent economic indicators and positive results achieved in it.
