Ambassador Mohamed Abdel -Rahman Al -Haidan, Head of Legal Affairs and Acting Head of the Cooperation Council Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in the twenty -sixth political committee meeting of senior officials between the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the European Union, which was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting discussed ways to develop the strategic partnership between the two sides, enhance joint coordination in various fields, as the two sides exchanged views on many regional and international issues, especially the Palestinian issue, the situation in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan and Ukraine, and the latest developments in the regional conditions.
This meeting also reflected the common concern to consolidate strategic dialogue and activate the mechanisms of consultation between the Cooperation Council and the European Union.
