The activities of the beach and the sea bottom initiative in Sharm El -Sheikh, in order to preserve the marine life and coral reefs.
An initiative under the auspices of the governor
The initiative will be launched under the patronage of Major General Dr. Khaled Mubarak, Governor of South Sinai, next Monday, from Land Mark, in the presence of a large number of divers, the marine activities room, and some volunteers from civil society organizations.
It is expected that Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, will participate in launching the initiative’s activities in Sharm El Sheikh.
The initiative aims to clean the Shatt and the sea and remove the waste from the depths of the sea to encourage environmental practices between the people and tourists and encourage participation in the protection of the environment, and it is expected that 150 dignitaries and volunteers are participating in Egyptians and foreigners in this initiative.
Why Sharm El Sheikh?
Because the city of Sharm al -Shabakh deserves a lot from us, and that tourists are interested in participating in cleaning the oceans and as one of the most important diving tourism destinations globally, and because the Red Sea is one of the most diverse environmental systems in the world, and because tourism and life in the Red Sea depends on a clean and sustainable environment and that pollution negatively affects the environmental balance in the region
