The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority announced the launch of a distinguished package of activities and activities that the Kingdom of Bahrain will witness in conjunction with the blessed Eid Al -Adha and the summer summer season 2025, as part of an expanded promotional campaign aimed at enhancing the Kingdom’s position as an ideal destination for summer tourism.
In this context, Mrs. Sarah Ahmed Bouhji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, confirmed that the authority is keen to diversify tourism products and provide an integrated experience for visitors, and said: “We are working to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain as a major tourist destination in the region, especially during the summer season, which is witnessing an increasing demand from Gulf families, and we are keen to enhance cooperation with travel agents, and provide dedicated packages that meet aspirations Visitors, in line with the goals of the tourism strategy for the years 2022-2026.
Bouhaji pointed out that there is close cooperation with the private sector, which represents the primary partner of the success of the tourism sector, and coordination has been coordinated with the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Gulf Air regarding tourism packages, which includes special promotional prices for travelers coming from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and “GF Holidays” launched an exclusive summer package that will be promoted on a large scale in the Gulf markets.
It is scheduled that the activities of “Bahrain Summer 2025” will include the establishment of the second edition of the “Bahrain Games Festival”, which will be held over a full month in the Bahrain International Exhibition Center, where the festival area will double compared to the previous version, with a noticeable increase in the number of games and the diversity of the targeted age groups to suit all family members. The festival will also witness a broader participation of Bahraini projects, as well as attracting more Bahraini youth volunteer youth, in support of community partnership goals.
The Bahrain Summer activities will include musical performances and international concerts from “Payon Dana”, in addition to a number of theatrical performances.
