The National Police Museum is organizing a lecture entitled Museum Security in light of high -change societies, on the occasion of the International Museum Day, on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
The lecture is delivered by Abdel Baset Mahmoud, Director General of the National Police Museum, and the lecture addresses the concept of museum security from a contemporary perspective in light of the rapid societal changes and security challenges facing museums.
It reviews the ways of development and innovation in protection and digital information protection systems and museum databases in addition to the importance of security awareness of workers and visitors with the aim of reaching a safe museum model and interacting with its societal environment.
National Police Museum
The National Police Museum is located in the Castle of Salah al -Din al -Ayyubi in Cairo, and it includes holdings aimed at highlighting the history of the police since the earliest times until the present time, as the museum contains many of the holdings of the Egyptian security services, as well as the tools used in the police stations and the clothes of the police, and some pictures of the celebrities of the officers and criminals.
