His Highness Sheikh Issa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice -President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, crowned the Al -Muharraq Club team as a champion of the Khalifa Bin Salman Basketball Cup for the year 2025, after his victory in the exciting final that he gathered with his counterpart, Manama, at the Khalifa Sports City Hall, in a foolish mass and remarkable international presence.
The final, which was held in an impressive atmosphere, witnessed the presence of a number of dignitaries in the world of basketball, including His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Ali Al Thani, President of the International Basketball Federation and His Excellency Major General Ismail Al -Garqawi, President of the Arab Federation, and Prince Fahd bin Jalawi, Vice President of the Saudi Olympic Committee, along with a group of officials and game stars from different countries of the world.
On this occasion, His Highness Sheikh Issa bin Ali congratulated the Al -Muharraq team on this due achievement, praising the distinguished level that the players presented during the match, and the great efforts made by the administration and the technical and administrative bodies in preparing the team and achieving this precious title.
He stressed that this new coronation reflects the extent of the distinguished work presented by the Al -Muharraq Club management this season.
His Highness also praised the high competitive atmosphere that the meeting witnessed, which embodied the spirit of Bahraini sport and showed the great progress that the game has reached in terms of technical and organizational level, pointing out that the great public presence and the distinguished organization reflect the growing development of Bahraini basketball.
