Mr. Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Trade, received this morning, Ambassador Hassan Kulaib, Deputy Director General of the International Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and his accompanying delegation, as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the Minister stressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to enhance cooperation with the United Nations organizations, especially the World Intellectual Property Organization, especially in the areas of intellectual property protection and support for innovation, and a group of future initiatives that aim to raise awareness of the importance of intellectual property in supporting innovation and economic growth was discussed.
For his part, Ambassador Kulaib expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of intellectual property, praising the steps taken by the Kingdom to strengthen this vital sector.
