His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Bed, may God protect and preserve him, sent a telegram of congratulations to His Excellency President Ahmed Al -Shara, President of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, in which His Majesty expressed his sincere congratulations to his Excellency and the brotherly Syrian people on the occasion of the President of the United States of America’s announcement of his decision to lift economic sanctions on the Syrian Arab Republic, in response to the endeavors of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman Al -Saud, the Crown Prince.
His Majesty the Most High, may God bless him, praised this important decision, considering him a positive step towards supporting the sisterly Syria in this articulated stage of its modern history, stressing His Majesty that this initiative will have a great impact in strengthening the efforts of His Excellency President Ahmed Al -Shara towards achieving security, stability and prosperity, and to meet the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people in development and progress, asking His Majesty the Almighty to culminate the efforts of His Excellency the Syrian President.
