But this increasing phenomenon raises concerns among experts, as Dr. Rafael Sierilo from Sydney University warned that emotional attachment to conversation robots may pose a threat to public health and safety, calling for a technical organization that guarantees the compatibility of these models with human values.
He said: We are facing a real threat, and if we do not put clear controls, we may fall into a social catastrophe, but he called at the same time not to ridicule those who emotionally associated with artificial intelligence, warning that societal stigma may increase their isolation.
