Mohammed Saeed Al -Shehhi, Secretary -General of the Emirates Media Council, stressed that the UAE adopts clear criteria for making a responsible digital content that establishes the national identity and maintains moral and social values, in parallel with openness to modern digital tools. He said in statements to the Emirates News Agency «WAM» on the sidelines of the state’s participation as a guest of honor at the Arab Media Forum in the State of Kuwait: The state’s choice of this role reflects its pioneering position as a regional and global center for the media and embodies the fruits of the strategic approach adopted by the media system in the country, which focuses on developing an integrated media sector that combines legislation, empowerment, investment and innovation.
