Meshaal Al -Ali said in television statements: There was an agreement between Baghdad Bounajah and Al -Ahly and there was a Qatari agent running negotiations between the two parties, and a person from Al -Ahly came to speak with the player and was agreed on everything, and the agent told me that the player was agreed with everything as well.
He added: My opinion was that the player is better to continue in order to maintain the level of the Qatari north, and therefore we rejected the offer submitted by Al -Ahly, because the player is from the pillars of the team, we are trying to stick to the team, we could not dispense with the scorer of the team, it was agreed with Baghdad but I spoke with the player and reached with him to an agreement and the player waived a big offer, and I told him that we have a big project with him and that he is a sports director after the next years.
He continued his statements to talk about Akram Tawfiq’s deal, where he said: Akram was among our accounts from the beginning of the season, and the war was a trick and the time we negotiated with Akram was the appropriate time, especially since they wanted at the time to contract with Baghdad Bou Najah, we went to Egypt with Baghdad Bounaj on the basis that Al -Ahly believed that we will end the Baghdad deal, but the goal was to start negotiations.
