On Sunday, Deputy Prime Minister of Ireland, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defense Simon Harris called for a review of the partnership agreement between the European Union and Israel.

In a post on the “X” platform, Harris indicated that the partnership agreement between the European Union and Israel includes human rights items.

He said: “These items state that relations must be based on respect for human rights.”

He added: “These words must have meaning, and the agreement must be reviewed. The world is almost not doing anything.”

The Irish Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that he wants to discuss this issue with his European counterparts.

He explained that there is a responsibility for them to do everything possible to stop violence, increase humanitarian aid, and immediately release all prisoners.

Harris’s statement, in light of the war of genocide committed by Israel with absolute American support, comes against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023, including killing, destruction, starvation and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls.
