Accordingly, the national plan to enhance belonging and consolidate the values of citizenship “our Bahrain” launched by the Kingdom of Bahrain as a comprehensive strategic framework that reflects the national vision to protect the societal fabric and the consolidation of loyalty and belonging to the homeland in the hearts of youth.
The plan is in response to the aspirations of His Majesty the King, may God protect and preserve him in consolidating the values of belonging and promoting the national identity in the face of contemporary challenges, by implementing development, educational and social strategic initiatives.
The plan targets various groups of society, with a focus on the category of young and youth, through thoughtful tools that include education, media, volunteer work, and awareness campaigns, in a way that enhances the citizen’s association with his national culture and deepens his sense of belonging and good citizenship.
The contents of “Our Bahrain” are consistent with the vision that emphasizes that national values are not theoretical concepts, but rather practical behaviors that are translated into commitment and keenness in the interest of the country.
The plan focused on the inclusion of these values in the curricula of education, youth programs, and community activities, in a way that contributes to building a generation sticking to his homeland, participating in making his present, and believing in turn in preserving his future.
One of the most important goals of “our Bahrain” is the protection of the authentic Bahraini identity, based on the principles of coexistence, tolerance, and civilization openness, by highlighting the cultural and historical privacy of Bahraini society.
The initiatives were designed within the plan to enhance the universal identity, and stimulate the emerging generations to pride in their local culture, in a way that constitutes a vital defense line against melting in other cultures or influenced by external discourse different from the privacy of Bahraini society.
Recently, one of the most prominent successes in this plan is the establishment of the “Bahraina” exhibition, which was the culmination of the “Challenge of Generations” competition aimed at highlighting the creations of youth and consolidating national pride through digital content.
The competition witnessed a remarkable interaction from various governorates of the Kingdom, governmental and educational institutions, civil society institutions, the private sector, sports clubs, and creators of various disciplines.
More than two hundred participation was recorded, which reflected collective commitment to promote national creativity and devote the concepts of belonging, and highlighted the active role of the emerging generations in expressing Bahraini identity in innovative methods.
The success of the process of enhancing belonging and consolidating national values requires the concerted efforts of all institutions according to a work that comes within an integral framework to build an inclusive national awareness.
This cooperation is one of the most prominent features of the success of the plan, as it is translated into realistic initiatives that have a tangible impact on the lives of youth.

Hence, every educational, media, or youth initiative becomes an opportunity to consolidate the values of loyalty and belonging, and to achieve the aspirations of a homeland that grows in its youth, preserves its consciousness, and progresses with the solidarity of its children.
