The Environment Authority- Abu Dhabi has announced the issuance of a new regulatory regulation concerned with preparing and responding to the environmental emergency in the emirate, in a move aimed at enhancing the institutional ability to immediately deal with environmental accidents and reduce its negative effects through proactive procedures organized by the regulation. The issuance of the regulations based on Law No. 16 of 2005 regarding the reorganization of the authority and its amendments, and its provisions apply to all facilities and projects licensed by the authority, which may result from its activities pollutants that affect the land or marine environment or air quality, which may lead to an environmental emergency.
