US President Donald Trump, Secretary of the Congress Library, suddenly dismissed Carla Hayden, as the White House continued to get rid of those who are seen as opposing the president and agenda.
Hayden was informed in an email late Thursday from the White House Personnel Affairs Office, according to an email obtained by the Associated Press.
Hayden had been appointed in this position in 2016 after the Senate’s ratification, thus becoming the first woman and the first African American to take over this historical role. Its ten -year mandate for the next year was scheduled to end.

Hayden was recently criticized by conservative groups accusing her of promoting books directed at children containing the contents of which they described as “extremist”, and literature of Trump’s opponents.
