The House of Representatives will resume its sessions next week, headed by Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, where during its session on Sunday discuss the report of the Joint Committee from the Religious Affairs and Endowments Committee and the Office of the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee on a draft law submitted by the government to regulate the issuance of the legal fatwa.

The draft law aims to define the legal and regulatory framework for the practice of the fatwa and ensure its presentation in a manner consistent with the provisions of Islamic Sharia and the laws in force, which achieves many goals, most notably promoting religious and social stability in society, ensuring the quality of fatwas and allegation with Islamic law, enhancing transparency in practicing the fatwa, and protecting society from extremist or incorrect fatwas, in addition to the commitment of institutions and journalistic means The media, websites, social media applications and their contents by publishing legal fatwas issued by specialists.
During its session on Monday, the report of the Joint Committee from the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee, and the Office of the Health Affairs Committee on a draft law submitted by the government to amend some provisions of Law No. 127 of 1955 regarding the practice of the pharmacy profession.
The draft law aims to separate the academic study according to which the student obtains a Bachelor’s degree in the training certificate (the concession) that the trainee receives once forced compulsory training and after completing the university study; In order to achieve the principle of equality between students of the pharmacy colleges, and between other students of the health sector colleges in Egypt, in order to keep pace with international and regional developments in line with the actual need of the labor market.
On Sunday and Monday, the sessions witness the discussion of the following international agreements:
1- The President’s Resolution No. 146 of 2025 regarding the approval of the cooperation agreement to establish projects account in Egypt between the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
2- The President’s Resolution No. 131 of 2025 regarding the approval of the financing agreement for the European Union Support Program for Egypt’s National Population Strategy- the second stage, between the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the European Union.
3- The Presidential Resolution No. 506 of 2024 regarding approval of the “financing agreement for the regional program for cooperation across the borders of the Mediterranean basin.
