A new study revealed that women who take a certain type of birth control pill are at a risk of an asthma attack by 40%.
According to the Times Now News website, researchers from Imperial College London found that taking progesterone pills containing increased risk of asthma seizures at the age of 35.

The researchers applied the study to the pill that contains only progesterone, or small pills, which are an effective way to prevent daily oral pregnancy that contains a compounded version of the hormone progesterone, and unlike complex birth control pills, these pills do not contain the female hormone estrogen.
The UK asthma and lung association, which contributed to conducting the study, called for more research to study the relationship between progesterone and asthma, and Dr. Erika Kinington, head of the research department at the Charitable Society: historically, stated that only a little was understood by the reason for the aggravation of asthma in women.
