The Ministry of Technical Education announced the time map for the new academic year 2025-2026, the study period in the first semester, as the first semester will start on September 20, 2025 until January 22, 2026.

The Ministry of Education stated that the first semester exams for the transport classes begin on Saturday, January 10, 2026, and the second semester begins on Saturday, February 7, 2026, to Thursday, June 11, 2026, with the start of the second semester exams for the transportation classes on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
The Ministry of Education announced the date of the start of the first semester exams for the preparatory certificate for the next year 2026, as well as the date of the start of the second semester exams.
She said in a statement, that the first semester exams for the preparatory certificate start on January 17, 2026, while the second semester exams, June 4, 2026.
Mohamed Abdel -Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, chaired today the meeting of the Supreme Council for Pre -University Education; To discuss the new academic year plan 2025/2026 and review some of the features of the Ministry’s plan, policies and executive procedures that were recently implemented.
The Minister of Education emphasized the vital role played by the Supreme Council for Pre -University Education in supporting the educational process and participating in decision -making and developing educational plans and programs, and during the meeting, the Minister reviewed the features of the ministry’s plan for the new academic year, stressing that the reality of education is measured by what is happening within the semester, noting that the efforts made by the ministry during the last period contributed directly to achieving high attendance rates until this time of the academic year ranging from 80% to 90%, in addition to the density of classes does not exceed 50 students per class, and the ministry has also developed a plan to end the evening periods of primary schools within a period ranging from two to three years.
