The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture confirmed the monitoring of 84 violations related to joint collective housing during the year 2023 and 2024, in the fifth district of the southern governorate, and the necessary legal measures have been taken against violators.
In its response to the question of Representative Mohamed Moussa, the ministry explained that the violations included: Failure to adhere to the requirements of public safety, not to possess the necessary permits, the requirements of joint collective housing, the site of storage of gas cylinders is unsafe, electrical connections are in violation of the requirements for employment in one room in a way that exceeds the absorptive area, in addition to that some buildings are to fall; Which poses a threat to the residents of the building, the subcontractor leasing in most of the random buildings observed, and the increase in the numbers of its residents on the capacity of it.
