The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the kingdom’s categorical rejection of the “Israeli occupation authorities regarding incursion and control of the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian territories, and its categorical rejection of the continuous Israeli violations of international law and international humanitarian law,” according to the statement published by the Foreign Ministry.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the Kingdom’s rejection of any attempts to expand settlement on the Palestinian territories, the importance of obliging the Israeli authorities to international decisions, stressing the Kingdom’s position in support of the Palestinian issue in accordance with international legitimacy decisions and the Arab peace initiative, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
