Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, said that the philosophy of the proposal for the Egyptian baccalaureate certificate depends on the development of intellectual and monetary skills instead of memorization and indoctrination.
Abdel Latif added during the cabinet meeting headed by Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, that the baccalaureate system provides the opportunity for multidisciplinary education, integrating scientific, literary and artistic materials, providing continuous evaluation, dividing materials over at least two years, through multiple opportunities, and two exams annually.
The Minister of Education pointed out that many societal dialogue sessions were held on this proposal with different spectrums of society, and a questionnaire was held for third -grade middle school students (official – private) at the level of the Republic’s schools for sharing the opinion in the proposal of the Egyptian baccalaureate, reviewing a number of the results of this questionnaire.
