The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Al -Muslim, affirmed that the Bahraini National Press is one of the main pillars in the march of national action, throughout its ancient and honorable history, full of loyal giving, distinguished achievement, and performing the national message freedom with a responsible opinion and expression, and enjoys the support and care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, and the follow -up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives extended its sincere greeting, appreciation, congratulations and blessings to the press and media family, on the occasion of the Bahraini Press Day, and appreciating the efforts of the Ministry of Information Affairs, the National Communication Center, the Bahraini Journalists Association, the press and media institutions, and the owners of pens from writers and journalists in performing their responsible national role, and ensuring that journalistic work in all honesty and objectively.
He praised the delegations, experiences and cadres of the Bahraini press, and work to present all issues and topics with all professionalism and credibility, according to an open atmosphere of responsible freedom, embodying the democratic and development process, enhancing the preservation of national constants, societal cultural values based on pluralism, diversity and respect for the other, and puts the supreme national interest above any consideration.
Parliamentary support for the press and media sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the continuous cooperation to achieve the aspirations and goals desired to serve the press and journalists, indicating that the celebration of the Bahraini Press Day is to celebrate the history of the country, its rise and leadership, a beautiful fulfillment of the first pioneers, and an appreciation of the efforts of all journalists, media professionals and creators.
