On the occasion of the Bahraini Press Day, which falls on the seventh of May of each year, the Islamic Bank of Bahrain (BISB) organized the pioneering bank in providing Islamic digital banking services in the Kingdom of Bahrain recently a special celebration, through which a group of workers in the local press in the Kingdom of Bahrain honored at the Winddam Grand Manama Hotel.
The bank’s organization of this celebration comes in appreciation of the efforts of workers in the local press and their valuable contributions to reporting news and covering events, and enhancing societal awareness about economic, banking and societal issues.
The ceremony was attended by Mrs. Fatima Al -Alawi, CEO of Bahrain Islamic Bank, and a number of bank employees, in addition to the editors of local newspapers, journalists, photographers and administrators working in the newspapers.
In this regard, Mrs. Fatima Al -Alawi, CEO of Bahrain Islamic Bank, said: “We are proud to honor workers in the Bahraini press who had a prominent role in transferring information in transparency and professionalism, and they contributed to supporting the various national sectors, including the banking sector, where this honor comes from our belief in the importance of the press as a strategic partner in development, and our keenness to enhance bridges of communication with the press National.
Al -Alawi added: “We value the efforts of workers in the local press in supporting the local media scene, affirming their important and main role in highlighting programs, initiatives and achievements of society institutions. Building the unlimited support that our rational leadership gives the press, and the area of freedom of expression that workers in the local press receives, which gives them a climate of work appropriate to creativity and covering facts, events and initiatives in the way It contributes to achieving the development of all sectors in society. ”
It is worth noting that the Islamic Bank of Bahrain is keen to enhance its relations with the media, and constantly supports the vital role played by the Bahraini press in supporting the development and development process in the Kingdom.
