The Saudi Ministry of Education issued a decision to close all official accounts of government schools, institutes and education offices on social media platforms, and to only communicate through the official accounts of the general departments of education in a manner that ensures the unification of communication messages and enhancing institutional communication role.
“Okaz” reported that the decision will be implemented in three stages of the first stage, which is the stage of archiving data starting from Sunday, May 4 to Monday, May 12, in which all official account data (publications – communication content) for schools and offices will be archived by the coordinators; To ensure it is kept according to the regular requirements.
The second stage, which is the complete closing phase of all accounts, starts from Tuesday, May 13, and ends Thursday, May 29, 2025 AD, and includes the closure of accounts completely by school and offices coordinators, under the direct supervision of the institutional communication department, provided that the electronic closure form is filled.
The third stage is the final review stage, and starts from Monday, June 15 to Thursday, June 26, during which the institutional communication department is confirmed to complete the operations referred to in the first and second stages to ensure commitment to the decision.
