Major General Mohamed Al -Zamalout, Governor of the New Valley, and Hanan Magdy, Deputy Governor, held a broad meeting with the heads of the centers via video technology, in the presence of Sayed Mahmoud, Secretary General of the Governorate, and Colonel Ihab Nafi, Assistant Secretary -General of the Governorate, and representatives of the relevant government agencies, in the framework of the province’s efforts to raise the quality of services provided to citizens.
Regulating the conditions of construction violations
The meeting resulted in an important package of decisions and directives represented in organizing the conditions of newly discovered construction violations by providing an opportunity to legalize the situation until May 8, 2025, with the end of land ownership procedures for committed citizens and sending a time plan to liberalize contracts (ownership/rent/use) within 15 days.
And allocate free lands to the initiatives of selling basic commodities at reduced prices to citizens, provided that the proximity of residential blocks, and the intensification of providing meat supported by the outlets of local units.
And disbursed financial rewards for distinguished villages with price reduction initiatives, with the intensification of field traffic for the heads of centers on the villages monthly, holding periodic meetings with citizens, coordination and preparedness for high school exam preparations, and organizing free strengthening classes in the mosques and villages of the centers, under the supervision of a group of distinguished teachers.
