Online shopping is a global phenomenon that is witnessing a wide turnout by millions around the world daily.
This is due to the multiple advantages provided by e -shopping, most notably the low price compared to the speed you buy from the store. However, one of the clear defects of e -shopping is the inability of customers to try or examine products directly before purchase, and this matter makes it difficult to assess the quality of the commodity and its compatibility with personal needs, unlike traditional shopping that gives shoppers the opportunity to preview details such as texture, color, smell and size realistically.
As a result, many shoppers resort to going to shoe stores, perfumes, and others, and to check the commodity and verify it well, although he does not intend to buy it from the ground from the store, but rather can request the appropriate commodity and the appropriate size from the Internet.
In this regard, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al -Hawaj Group, Jawad Al -Hawaj, stressed: “It is self -evident that you find prices in the Internet less than they are in the store.
He continued: “Buying from the Internet as it has advantages, it has defects, and perhaps the most prominent defects is the tradition, the distinction today between the original product and the product has become very difficult, so it is necessary to deal with well -known stores.”
Regarding some people resorting to examining products in the stores, Al -Hawaj said: “This is an ethical aspect, this is a service that requires me to financial obligations, so I offer it to those who wish to buy from a local, and not for those who want to buy the commodity from the Internet, if you want to buy it from the Internet, then why do you come to check the commodity for me.”
For his part, Lawyer Farid Ghazi said: “The space to buy goods via the Internet has become the prevailing and most purchases are done via the Internet, and some consumer people have a daily purchase and even without examining the product, by prior knowledge of the product.”
He continued: «Today the consumer buys everything and even his daily purchasing requests is done through various requests with mobile devices, but the main problem lies in the goods that need to be examined and taste before buying, but it is the problem of the consumer, and the merchant’s problem is not that you cannot check it to go and examine it with him, this is a non -rational and incorrect behavior, examining in a place and resorting to the Internet to ask without benefiting this person who has employment, rents and bills And obligations, a very wrong behavior, and this merchant needs protection from the official authorities.
The media, Manal Al -Sheikh, commented on her part on this topic by saying: “I am asking a lot of goods from the Internet, because I am consuming and it is self -evident to search for the cheapest commodity, but I avoid as much as possible the goods that need to be examined before buying it, because I do not guarantee that the commodity is identical to the specifications that I want.”
She added: «Some people resort to examining the commodity at the sellers in Bahrain before requesting it from the Internet, in order to ensure that it matches the required specifications. They intend to buy it from the ground?! ”
