The Ministry of Education and Technical Education is preparing to open 15 new schools, as part of the Egyptian -Japanese school system, next September.
The Ministry of Education added that the opening of schools comes within the framework of its keenness to increase the numbers of Egyptian Japanese schools, noting that it is a unique model of strategic cooperation based on the common vision, especially in the education sector.
The ministry indicated that these schools It is a unique experience in integrating academic aspects with personal and behavioral development, by applying Japanese Tokatsu activities, which contribute to developing the student’s personality, building the values of discipline and teamwork.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Education, Mohamed Abdel -Latif, praised the effective partnership in the field of technical education, by supporting the establishment and operation of applied technology schools, in cooperation with leading Japanese industrial institutions such as Toyota, Cassio and Yamaha, which is a successful model for linking education to the actual labor market, indicating that there are 90 frameworks for these schools and that there are 1270 schools that the ministry seeks to cooperate with the Japanese side in developing it.
Minister Mohamed Abdel -Latif appreciated this partnership; Stressing the aspiration towards more future cooperation and construction, whether by expanding current programs, or creating new cooperation areas that contribute to enhancing the quality of education.
For its part, Abi Toshiko, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, expressed her gratitude for the invitation of Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif to her and valued the results of his positive visit to Japan last February, stressing that the Japanese -Egyptian relations are a distinguished model for international cooperation based on deep understanding and the common desire to advance education.
