On the International Day of Freedom of the Press, Bahrain does not celebrate the occasion of symbolism, but rather reaffirms its deep commitment to a sublime royal vision that made the free word the basis for building the modern state, and from the national press as a partner in the march of development and progress.
The lofty word of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, carried the pride of the homeland with his press, and the leadership of leadership in its role in spreading awareness and consolidating identity. We are also proud of the continuous support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, who sponsors the press and journalists, and honors the distinguished with national prizes that embody the state’s appreciation for the responsible word.
The Bahraini press is not just a carrier of the news, but rather the eye of the homeland, the lens of reality, and the conscience of society. A corner in Bahrain is not without coverage, no project of follow -up, and no file of analysis. It – in all of this – is written to rise up in the nation and strengthen the leadership of Bahrain.
And in “Al -Watan”, we carry this message with all awareness and pride, and we are proud to be part of the story of the homeland, present at the heart of the event, monitor, document, and build the word as the homelands are built with young armed.
Every year, our press is free, and our country is at the forefront of the scene.
