The Angolan club Petro Atletico has officially announced the appointment of the former Al -Ahly striker Amadou Flavio as coach of the team, succeeding Ricardo Jose.

The Angolan Petro Atletico thanked the Portuguese Ricardo Jose, the former coach of the team, on Thursday evening.
Petro Atletico said in an official statement: Amadou Flavio was contracted to lead the Angolan team during the coming period.
This is the first time that the former Al -Ahly player has been training Petro Atlético, as he previously worked as an assistant to the coach before.
Flavio is scheduled to start his training career with Petro Atletico, facing Academy de Lubito on Sunday in the Angolan League competitions.
The Petro Atletico team is ranked first in the top of the Angolan League table for the current season, with 59 points, 3 points behind its closest competitors.
Flavio began his football career in Petro Atletico, before concluding this long march in 2015 at the same club by announcing his retirement.
Flavio won a historic march within the ranks of Al -Ahly team, from 2005 to 2009.
