A new leak from the technical leak “Alfaturk” revealed that the updates expected in May 2025 were postponed for the Galaxy S25 series.
The next update is likely to be limited to a security correction for the month of May, without the performance improvements or camera that was expected.
Camera improvements will not arrive in the May update
The previous rumors had talked about the camera improvements to improve the quality of images and video, as well as improvements in the general performance of the system, but the leakage published through the X platform made it clear that Samsung has retracted the inclusion of these improvements, which means that the May Update will be limited in terms of advantages.
Details of the new version of the fixed program indicate slight changes in the update known, as symbolic “U2” and “DB” were replaced by “S3” and “DA”, which indicates that the update will be simple and not a large update full of features.
Despite the possibility of receiving some regular applications such as the operator and the camera for some minor updates, the major improvements were postponed due to unlimited problems that appeared during the test stage.
Different reactions from users
X Publications showed a variation in reactions, while some users felt frustrated, others expressed their confidence that Samsung was working to improve the update before later later, perhaps in June or July.
Although the S25 devices already enjoy the AMOLED screens ranging from 6.2 and 6.9 inches, along with cameras of up to 200 megapixels in the Ultra, the expected updates would enhance the Galaxy AI capabilities, especially the photo assist feature.
