Ambassador Bassam Ahmed Marzouq, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Turkish Republic, attended the opening of the Bandukan Economic Forum, in the Turkish city of Erdrom, under the generous sponsorship of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Turkish Republic, in the presence of a number of ministers and senior officials in the Turkish Republic, accredited ambassadors and representatives of Turkish trade, industry and economic bodies.
During a speech delivered by Jawdat Yilmaz, Vice President of the Republic of Turkey, he stressed that the forum aims to enhance economic cooperation between Türkiye and the international community, explore investment opportunities and enhance sustainable development in the region.
The ambassador expressed his appreciation for organizing this important economic event, stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to enhance economic relations with the Turkish Republic and explore new areas of joint cooperation.
