The Palestinian prisoner Abdullah Al -Barghouthi, who is detained in Israeli prisons, suffers from systematic liquidation attempts by the Prison Administration, according to Palestinian human rights sources.
These practices include deprivation of medical care, solitary insulation for long periods, and exposure to harsh detention conditions aimed at undermining its health and morale.
Al -Barghouti has been sentenced to life imprisonment since his arrest in 2003.
Human rights institutions have called for urgent intervention to stop these violations and protect the life of the captive, holding the Israeli authorities fully responsible for his safety.
According to reports issued by Palestinian human rights institutions, including the Prisoners and Editors Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner Club, the prisoner Abdullah Al -Barghouthi, who has been detained since 2003 in Israeli prisons, faces a series of systematic violations that are classified as attempts to physically and psychologically, including these violations:
He stated that the latest information from the prisons indicates that Al -Barghouti was severely beaten “until his body became covered with blue spots, and his head is full of blood masses, with swelling in his eyes and fractures in his ribs, which loses the ability to sleep.”
Human rights institutions explained that “the repression units break into his cell led by an officer named Amir, where he is beaten by beating until his body is flowing every time,” and that “after the end of the beating, dogs are inserted because his blood -underground body is broken, as the officer issues his orders saying: Enter the dogs to entertain him.”
And she added that “the forces of repression pour the hot liquid on his lean body after each round of torture, to increase the pain.”
She pointed to the exposure of the Barghouti prisoner “to verbal insult, as the officer says to him: I was a former leader, today you are zero … you must die.”
She emphasized that the Prisoner of Al -Barghouti as a result of torture “falls into a repeated coma, with his hand wrapped with a bag used for waste and a toilet, due to the absence of any means of protection.”
