The Secretary -General of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, Jassem Al -Badawi, stressed the great efforts made by Bahrain and its continuous contributions, to enhance economic solutions and build more sustainable societies, pointing out that Bahrain is the case of the GCC states working to diversify its economy, which is a very important issue. “The diversification will not be successful except with an open market and its reorganization,” he said.
He added in a statement to reporters, on the sidelines of the “Bab Bahrain Forum 2025”, organized by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry yesterday, that the forum reflects the regional and international position that the Kingdom has at all levels, especially economic and investment.
Al -Badawi explained that the high -level participation in the forum, such as the World Trade Organization, the International Labor Organization and other organizations and other bodies, reflects its importance, especially since its convening comes at a time when the international community is going through very difficult commercial decisions, indicating that the forum provides an excellent ground to discuss these new policies and decisions.
The Secretary -General stressed that the GCC states are working to enhance and strengthen their commercial and economic position as they do in other files such as military, political, etc., explaining that there is continuous communication and coordination between the Gulf states to confront these challenges.
He described the commercial future of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries as “dazzling”, as the numbers reflect the wise policies adopted by the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council states to protect and safeguard the interests of the Gulf states all levels, especially economic.
He stressed that the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council have proven to be a kiss for future economic growth, thanks to the strategic vision of their wise leadership, durability and strength of their economies and strategic location.
