Representatives: Using Bahrainis, supporting wages and training … national priority and university responsibility

On the occasion of International Workers’ Day, the House of Representatives extends with great thanks, appreciation, gratitude and gratitude to the workers of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and their distinguished contributions in all fields and sectors, in light of the comprehensive development process, to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Great Country, may God protect and preserve him, and support and follow -up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him.

Praising the council for the development and growth achieved by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of the work environment, and the compatibility of Bahraini labor legislation with international work standards, which reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to best practices in this field.

The Council pointed out that the employment of Bahrainis and the development of vocational training and job promotion, and wage support for workers in the public and private sector, is a national priority and university responsibility, which requires the concerted efforts of the executive authority and in cooperation with the legislative authority, in creating quality jobs, and keeping pace with the developments, requirements and needs of the labor market.

The assembly of the council is the government’s efforts and “Tamkeen” programs in providing job opportunities for Bahrainis in cooperation with the private sector, the importance of doubling the completion of the Ministry of Labor and the Civil Service Agency, and addressing all observations related to closing the file of the unemployed and job seekers.

Stressing the council the need to accelerate the implementation of projects, programs and initiatives that have been agreed upon between the legislative and the executive authority when the state’s general budget law is approved for the financial two years 2025-2026, especially in connection with enhancing job opportunities that include employment programs of 25,000 Bahraini annually, and increasing new programs aimed at employing 8,000 new graduates annually, to double employment in a manner that suits the numbers of graduates, and developing The support system for 50,000 Bahraini annually with various financing and training programs, which contributes to creating opportunities and making the citizen the first option for employment.
