Zamalek Club responded in a statement issued today, Tuesday, through its legal advisor, Dr. Kamal Shuaib, to the warning sent by Ahmed Mustafa “Zizou”, which included inaccurate information and financial demands described as “unfounded”, according to what the club said.
In his statement, Zamalek affirmed that the player had stopped training without a legal justification, which, according to his description, represents a serious violation of the contract between the two parties and negatively affects the team’s results and his career in local and continental competitions.

The warning from the player lacks accuracy, and guarantees clear fallacies that do not affect reality, and there are no legal motives that justify his interruption from the exercises.
Zizou’s interruption is a serious violation of his contract terms, and it results in heavy damage to the team, which opens the door for the club to take legal measures to preserve its rights.
The financial demands mentioned in the warning are incorrect, especially related to the “bonus” claimed in paragraph No. 8 of the sixth item. The club explained that this phrase was not mentioned in the contract at all, and that the amounts listed related to the net for the contract after deducting taxes according to its provisions.
He asked the player to submit copies of his advertising and media appearance contracts, in preparation for the settlement of financial matters related to it.
Asking the player to clarify his position on obtaining a visa for the United States, in preparation for participating in the Club World Cup, in reference to the possibility of negotiating with another club.
The club is tightening the necessity of the player’s commitment to his contract, and to participate in training and camps, stressing the continued signature of the penalties stipulated in the regulations, in addition to taking all necessary legal measures.
