The American Ambassador to Egypt, Hiro Mustafa Garg, joined Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Engineer Hassan Al -Khatib, and Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation Dr. Rania Al -Mashat, at a signing ceremony of an agreement between the American company Dawah for medicines and the Egyptian company Gibto Pharma.
The agreement aims to meet the demand in the Egyptian market and expand export opportunities
According to a statement of the American embassy, the agreement between Dawah, a pioneer in biological treatments, and Jibto Pharma, the regional medicine center, will create new medicines manufacturing facilities in Egypt, using advanced American technology. This agreement shows how American expertise can transform the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt.
The agreement includes an initiative that aims to meet the demand in the Egyptian market and expand export opportunities to major markets, including the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East and North Africa region, which benefits both the Egyptian and American economies.
The statement noted that the agreement will benefit the United States and Egypt by increasing American exports to Egypt and creating new pharmaceutical facilities in Egypt.
For its part, Ambassador Mustafa Grag stressed the importance of the agreement, saying: The primary element in this historical agreement between a medicine medicine and Jibto Pharma is the provision of advanced American machines, equipment and technology along with the experience and knowledge necessary to expand the scope of the production of Egyptian drugs throughout Africa and the Middle East. This partnership shows the strength of our bilateral economic relationship and the common prosperity it achieves for both Egypt and the United States.
It is expected that the deal between Dawah Medicines and Jibto Pharma will create job opportunities and stimulate trade and investment in Egypt and the United States, with initial plans by Gibto to build a biological drug production factory and a facility to test biological compatibility in New Jersey.
