The Directorate of Supply in Kafr El -Sheikh continues its intensive work to receive the local wheat within the supply season 2025, in implementation of the decisions of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, where receipt is done through 26 sites affiliated with the marketers, namely: the Egyptian Company for Silos and Storage, the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, the Kafr El Sheikh Mills Sector, Alexandria Mills, and the Future of Egypt.
Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel -Moati, Governor of Kafr El -Sheikh, stressed the importance of continuous follow -up and control around the clock throughout the receipt period, as a central operations room was formed headed by the accountant Adel Al -Hadat, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, to follow up the work progress in these sites, and immediate intervention to solve any problem that may appear during the season, in implementation of the directives of the ministerial leadership.
The governor of Kafr El -Sheikh stressed the need to adhere to the payment of the dues of farmers and suppliers without delay, in accordance with the specified time period, to ensure the encouragement of supply and the support of farmers, as until Tuesday morning, April 29, 2025, reached the total number of what has been supplied from the local wheat 22409 tons and 832 kg, amid a discipline in work and effective coordination between the concerned authorities.
