The first team of the handball handball was crowned the club Al -Ahly The Egypt Cup for the Sports season 2024-2025, after defeating Smouha team with a score of 25-20 in the final match that was held at the Suez Canal Authority hall in Ismailia.
Al -Ahly’s hand team crowns the Egypt Cup for the 36th time and completes the local trilogy
With this victory, the Al -Ahly Ladies team won the 36th time in its history, to complete the triple team this season after winning the general league’s titles and the Egyptian Super Championship, in a new achievement added to the women’s handball record in the Red Castle.
The match witnessed a strong performance from Al -Ahly players, as they imposed their control from the beginning until the end of the end, amid great technical and public support.
This coronation confirms Al -Ahly’s dominance of women’s handball in Egypt, and the consolidation of its position as the most crowned teams in local championships.
The Al-Ahly women team qualified for the final after its victory in the semi-finals over the Sporting team 28-23, in a meeting that witnessed the brilliance of the Red Team players and the qualification resolved with merit, while the Smouha team was able to overcome its sun’s counterpart with a score of 33-26.
