Al -Ahly is preparing to return to the Egyptian Premier League competitions, next Wednesday, April 30, when he is a guest of the Petrojet team at the Military College Stadium, within the matches of the championship group in the final stage of the Premier League.

The match starts at eight o’clock in the evening, Egypt and Saudi Arabia time, and the first round between the two teams ended with Al-Ahly winning 2-1.

The position of the two teams in the league

Al -Ahly occupies the runner -up center with 40 points behind Pyramids, the top of the ranking table with 44 points, and Al -Ahly in theory has an opportunity to compete for the league title, so he seeks to win all its matches, hoping to stumble Pyramids and lose points, and if the team is unable to win the league title, he does not want to lose the runner -up, to ensure participation in the African Champions League for the next season.

On the other hand, and with the qualification of Petrojet for the tournament group, he was reassured that he remained in the league for the next season, which is the maximum that the team can achieve this season because of its departure from the lead centers.

New technical leadership

The team leads in the Petrojet match from the technical director, Imad Al -Nahhas, who was assigned by the club to lead the team to succeed Swiss Marcel Koler, which was thanked after leaving the African Champions League against the South African Sun Downs, and Al -Nahhas was announced by the team technically led by Al -Ahly club as well as his work as a general coach, while maintaining Mohamed Shawky, within the technical staff.

The only championship

The importance of the league championship this season is for Al -Ahly, as it is the only championship that the team can compete for, after his absence from the cup championship due to withdrawal, leaving the League Cup, and finally bidding farewell to the African Champions League.
