Today, Sunday, the Israeli army launched a raid on the southern suburbs of Beirut, which led to fires in the target building.
An Israeli source said that the target building contained “important weapons for Hezbollah.”
Commenting on, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “The army strongly attacked the infrastructure in which Hezbollah stored accurate missiles.”
He stated that “Israel will not allow Hezbollah to form a threat from anywhere in Lebanon.” He added that “the southern suburb will not be a safe haven for Hezbollah.”
He explained that “the Lebanese government bears direct responsibility for preventing Hezbollah’s threats.”
This third strike is on the southern suburb since the ceasefire between Israel and the party in late November.
The Israeli army had issued a warning to Beirut’s southern suburb, where he set a building that would target it, and asked its residents to evacuate it. The Israeli army spokesman said that the building in the Hadath neighborhood is a “facility belonging to Hezbollah”, calling on the residents of the neighboring buildings “to move away for a distance of at least 300 meters.”

Lebanon is calling for the international community to pressure Israel to stop its attacks and withdraw from five highlands in the south of the country. It kept its forces after the expiry of its withdrawal period under the agreement.
